O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

I love Christmas time!

Here's some photos that begin the season...

Can you find Hannah and Daddy?

Daddy showing Hannah how to hook the ornaments.

Hanging her first ornament.

(You can't tell here, but Hannah put her boots on the wrong feet.  This kid and her obsession with footwear cracks us up.  She also has St. Patrick's Day socks on under those boots!)

Time to light the tree!

Removing the ornaments...this shall be interesting...btw plastic ornaments = awesome and fun kid proof.

Melissa and Doug

Last Christmas my parents bought Hannah a picnic basket set by Melissa and Doug. Since they have become one of our favorite toy makers. Hannah loves trains. Guess what? Melissa and Doug are having a train table and train set give away and we are hoping to win!!! I've had my eye on their trains for some time, too. If you haven't checked out Melissa and Doug before I highly recommend you do. Hannah could make a whole Christmas List just of their toys!

The Leaves are Changing and Fall is Here

The fall leaves are finally here and are absolutely gorgeous.  All that gorgeous comes with a price, raking!  Sergio raked the front yard Friday night, and a couple days later it was already covered. A week later, Hannah could swim in the leaves if she wanted.  To work we went this morning.

You'd never guess that little worker has a cold.  She's such a busy one.  The warm sunshine and fresh air felt so nice.  She's all tuckered out, napping on the couch now.

Fun on the Boardwalk

Grandma Celina is here visiting this week.  Today we gave her a driving tour of the area.  Then we spent some time in Oceanfront along the boardwalk.

Naval Aviation Monument Park

"We'll be having some fun [on] the boardwalk..."

 Hannah and Grandma

(That's a pup playing in the ocean.)

They are setting up Christmas light displays on the beach.
And Santa's little helper was there to supervise the project.
(Does anyone else notice the cute, little elf ears?)

Daddy showing Hannah the birds in the sky. Or as Hannah says, "Burd".

Editing is Fun

We did another photo shoot on Thursday.  I did some editing on Thursday and Friday.  Then Hannah pressed the power button on our power strip which corrupted all our work.  Luckily we had backup of our previous work, and the shoot we did was still on the memory cards.  But I still had to redo all the work from Thursday and Friday.  Turns out I'm happy I did.  I think the photos look a lot better this time around.  Sergio is the editing master.  He's been very helpful in teaching me.  And I'm finding it to be a lot of fun once I've figured out the tricks.  I even found some tools in the program he didn't know about ;)  I'm very excited to share some of my favorites when I'm done.  Till then you'll have to wait. :)

Daddy's Girl

I snapped a couple pictures today, and I wanted to share my favorite!

We just can't believe she is 18 months now.   It feels like we just had her 1st birthday, and now we are half way to her 2nd.  I'm holding onto this age for dear life, but I know it is slipping away fast.  We love you precious girl!!!
